SVN and CVS diffs

I've been using Subversion with TortoiseSVN for a couple of years now,
however I've recently been asked to submit a CVS patch for some
changes I've been making to an open-source project.

I have no access to a CVS server or client, and I was wondering if the
diff patch created by TortoiseSVN is compatible with CVS (or
TortoiseCVS?)

If not is there any other way I could create a cvs-compatible patch
against an SVN working copy?
