Why so adamant? Is it technically difficult to add? If not, you
provide
the perfect rationale for it yourself:

Why rely on luck to avoid conflicts when you could let the user
resolve
them?

I also use Vim, and have found 'v' blessedly free of conflicts until I
now. No fault of TortoiseSVN, of course, but it is inconvenient; given
the nature of the respective apps, I use the Vim menu item hundreds of
times more than the Tortoise menu item. I've found I can change the
Vim
hotkey by editing the DLL, but have thus far been unable to do the
same
with Tortoise.

Anyway, I just wanted to second the opinion that being able to change
the
hotkey (or remove it), would be a useful option, for the reasons you
yourself
stated.

Cheers,
Eric
