Re: Is there a way to get the TSVNStatus from a file without using the Tortoise Libraries?

Hi,

let me say it in a way as clear as possible: I don't want anything
done from you, the TSVN-devs or something else in this group. I just
asked if there is a version independent way. So please stop telling me
that im expecting too much. :P I also don't expect that there have to
be complete, working environments. I just asked if there IS a working
environment. Thats a HUGE difference. ;)

As said above: i already built a client based on the svn 1.4.2
libraries in my tool and used the svn_client_status3 method to get the
status. This libraries /methods don't work anymore in cause of a
missing depency(i think something in apache). I just wanted to know if
there is anything that works in the same way but version independent
to prevent that i have to give out a new update for every new svn
version. Yes, i know that it's easy to set a minimum requirement to
use my software. But its easier for my users and me if such a update
isn't needed at all. :)

This works for example in a perfect way with TortoiseProc over the
command line. That's why i thought there is something to get the file
statuses, too.

And i found something, as told above. I use the SubWCRev.exe to get
the file-statuses. It's a bit slower in this way, but it works. I also
like the SubWCRef COM-Interface.

Best Regards,

Florian
