Which binary to coose

Hi All

I am in process of evaluating SVN ( Windows platform)

The choice of client was easy after reading about tortoisesvn.

Which server to choose:
There are so many with different bindings Debug, perl, python, javahl
etc

What do these bindings mean ( Googling did not show an answer)

I am just confused which one to download?

Any pointers will help.
