It is webmail, which distorts the URL. I put spaces to the URL below, so that webmail does not try to make a URL.This is the URL I try to connect to with TortoiseSVN:
https:// ecms08.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/ecms08
 
But I get the error:
OPTIONS of https:// ecms08.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/ecms08: Could not resolve hostname 'ecms08.svn.sourceforge.net': The requested name is valid and was found in the database, but it does not have the correct associated data being resolved for (https:// ecms08.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/ecms08).

That address up there is just plain wrong - are you behind a firewall
with a transparent proxy that requires authentication via a web form or
something?
