Leading/Trailing spaces when entering a Bug ID

Would it be possible to automatically do a Trim() on the Bug ID when
committing? When cutting and pasting a Bug ID from a bug tracking
app, the paste often puts in a trailing space. When you submit,
Tortoise complains about it, when in reality, it could just do a trim
to fix it itself..!
