1.5.0 interface look

Hi all,

First of all, thanks for the latest 1.5.0 version!

However personally I feel that the look of the interface has not improved at
all: in fact it's gotten worse. Especially the new overlay icons and the
merge tool.

When switching on the linefeeds and spaces in the merge tool, the text looks
really bloated with all these huge graphics. What happened to the subtle
interface? Is there any way to revert the graphics to the old merge look?

Also is there any way to easily change the overlay icon set to the one that
was used before 1.5.0? I've read your FAQ, but couldn't seem to find it.
