Commit Issue

I'm having issues when trying to commit to my repository.

Here is the error message:

Commit failed (details follow):
File or directory 'Arc.java' is out of date; try updating
The version resource does not correspond to the resource within the
transaction. Either the requested version resource is out of date (needs to be
updated), or the requested version resource is newer than the transaction root
(restart the commit).

I did an update and a clean up, but continue to get the error.

Any suggestions?
