Using SVN with FTP Server

Hello,

I downloaded and impressed with this program. I would like to use this
with FTP space. Is it possible to install SVN repository on a FTP
space ? I don't have access to the server, I only can access FTP
folder. Please help me.

If it is not possible, can I setup a local repository on all my
developer's machines, and use some kind of merge to update the
changes ? Is it possible to do so ?
