Connection diagnostics

Is there any way of switching on diagnostic logging?

I have a problem with one computer that has a TortoiseSVN client that
is unable to connect to the repository via svn+ssh. The repo browser
just says intialising and hangs.

I can telnet to port 22 on the server and see a response, so the
connection can definitely be made.

As far as I can tell, there doesn't seem to be any way of capturing
debug information from
TortoisePlink.exe (or plink.exe).

How do TortoiseSVN and the SSH client talk to each other - sockets,
stdin/out, shared memory or something else?

Mike
