"Status" column in Windows Explorer

Dear TortoiseSVN developers,

I've noticed some strange behaviour regarding the "SVN Status" column
that one can add to the Windows Explorer Details view on versioned
folders. I discovered this while setting my global ignore list. The
online FAQ says:

> If you want to distinguish unversioned and ignored files in the explorer, switch to the
> explorer's detailed view and activate the column SVN Status. Then you will see the difference.

I don't see the difference, that's the problem :-). Files ignored with
folder properties get correctly listed as ignored, but files that are
globally ignored get listed as "non-versioned" instead. Is there a
reason for this?

(I'm using version 1.4.8 on Win XP, in case that's important.)

Regards,

David
