RE: Re: TSVNCache thinks globally ignored files are changes

Sorry.

TortoiseSVN 1.4.8, Build 12137 - 32 Bit , 2008/02/16 11:09:38

In the TSVN settings I have added *.bak as an global ignore pattern.

If I edit a file using WinMerge, a filename.php.bak is created, which is
not versioned. When this file is created, the icon on the folder changes
to modified. If I then commit the changed file (the original) the folder
icon still shows as modified due to the *.bak file. Neither cleanup nor
update changes the icon, the only difference is the *.bak file.

If I remove the *.bak file, then run a cleanup or update it refreshes
the icon correctly. If I put the *.bak file back (testing) then the icon
changes to modified again.

Your description is not at all clear.
* Which version of TSVN?
* What is the ignore pattern?
* Is the file versioned?
* Please list the exact sequence of operations to reproduce this.
