I don't think that would be a good idea:
* Resizing is done often, even if the user doesn't want to look at
something specific in the dialog. More so since it's unlikely the user
is still looking at it when the command finishes.
* The same with sorting: it does not mean that after sorting until the
command is finished that the user is still looking at the dialog.
