@Stefan - I tried that but got a 403 error. I guess the asterisk is
confusing it.

@Kurt - thanks, I have used the repository since so I guess I'll have
to try svndumpfilter. I have to say, it looks a bit scary to someone
who's only ever used SVN as a fantastically useful but low-maintenance
tool. The chance of screwing the repository up yet further look high.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
