you did not read my complete message or i did not write it carefully
enough.
1. i use the gui version.
2. the problem is not "repos" but the repo i set up in svn:externals
inside "repos".
using a username where you put it would change the username used for
"repos", not the external (those two usernames are different), if i am
correct?
using "repos" is not the problem, you get a dialog asking for the
password AND name, when using a repo "directly". but you can only
supply the password for externals (afaik) and thats the problem.
the username for externals does not even get cached. so changing the
externals url temporarly to include the username, like i wrote in the
first mail, does not help either.
