TSvnCache performance

I use latest version of Tortoise SVN under Windows XP SP2 at AMD
Athlon 2.01GHz, 768MB
From time to time windows file explorer (as well as any other file
browser like TotalCommander etc) become very slow opening local SVN
working folders as well as not-svn folders. Under 'very slow' I asume
the time grows 4-5 times and greater in comparison with usual folder
listing time. One more thing - if to kill the process named TSvnCache
twice - all becomes normal again for some time, as the process is
automatically restarted.
