Thanks for the pointer.
I found the commit log history.
I see one log message about the change I am referring to - not two similar ones. So I believe one wasn't written out for some reason
(or I didn't wait long enough to see it read back in?). If it ever appears to happen again - I'll know where to look (and to wait).
