Last commit revision will not update after commit

Tortoise SVN 1.4.8 Build 12137 - 32 bit 2008/02/16
Server: SVN 1.4.0 (r21228)
 
Hello,
 
after i commit some files below directory x, and open
the properties-Pane of explorer of directory x then the
 "Last commit revision:" is not up to date.
 
The "Last commit revision:" field will not update until i update
directory x with tortoise and open the property pane again.
 
The effect is reproducable.
 
Please reply to me personally since i'm not registered.
