smartest way to move a directory

I reorganized my repository.
All *.h and *.cpp files where in trunk. I created include/ and src/ for
that and moved the files in there with MS Windows Explorer. This worked
wihtout any problems.

There was another folder
trunk/wxSerialize/[some files and subfolders]

I moved it to
trunk/third-party/wxSerialize/[some files and subfolders]
with MS Windows Explorer, too.

After that I got some problems with TSVN.
"try cleanup"
"third-party is obscured"
"wxSerialize is not under version control"
etc blabla

I am not able to reproduce the problems step by step.
But I see I did something wrong!

For the future:
How can I move folder the smartes way?
