Unversioned directories and modified icon overlay

Hello everyone:

I am fairly new to TortoiseSVN, and I found that a particular feature is
not behaving as I expected it would.

Under the TortoiseSVN settings dialog, in the Look and Feel->Icon
Overlays section, I have the "Unversioned files mark parent folder as
modified" option checked. When I add a new file in my working copy, it
marks the folder in which that file is located as modified, as I
expected. However, when I add a new sub-directory, the folder in which
that new sub-directory is located is not marked as modified like it was
when I added a new file. I can also add files to that new sub-directory
and the parent directory is still not marked as modified.

I am not a member of this mailing list, so please reply to me directory
(apousada at softwarekey dot com). Also, I am using TortoiseSVN 1.4.8
Build 12137 (32 bit) in Windows XP Professional (32 bit, of course). I
briefly checked the changelog and the issue tracker for anything that
might resemble this and did not find anything that seemed to note this
specifically.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Sincerely,
-Abram
