Problem solved!!!
We used a setting in the subversion configuration file

*.*=svn:eol-style=CRLF

to resolve CR LF problems in editor.
Maybe the key changed in the new version of tortoisesvn or it
was a wrong key word right from the beginning. In some
installations it was not set.
Oh man I what a relief.
Anyway thanks for your help.
