But do not use the trunk nightly on a working copy that you need to
keep in 1.4.x compatible format. The trunk build auto-upgrades your
working copy irreversibly to 1.5 format on operations which write to
the WC, so if you decide to go back to a 1.4.x client you will need to
do a fresh checkout.
