Have you tried the Relocate... function?

Subject: Changing the name of the server?

How do I change the name of the server for checked out files? I imagined that I could just switch my source from:
.
                svn+ssh://user@server1/svn/trunk

to

                svn+ssh://user@server2/svn/trunk

however Tortoise refuses to let me shoot myself in the foot :/, so I'm currently editing the '.svn/entries' files by hand.

Whilst I realise that in general this is a bad thing to do, there are cases where it is necessary - for instance server A is being replaced by server B, and the repository is moving locations. In this case it is a severe restriction to require users to check out everything again, and then apply their uncommitted patches to the source checked out from the new place. It should be possible to just change the name of the checked out server somehow.

How do other folks do this?

Joe
