Please send questions to the mailing list, not my private email address.

Diff only appears when a diff is actually possible. It will appear
when you have one modified versioned file selected (diff file with
BASE), or exactly two files (diff files with each other). In other
cases you have nothing to diff against so the item does not show in
the menus.
