While I understand that the "feature" that resets the readonly flag is
pesky, and probably unwarranted, I'd hardly call the fact that antivirus
removes a virus from your computer a problem. If that is a problem, your
solution is to not run antivirus, but if you don't know the effect of
running antivirus on your repository directories, or other places where a
deleted file could cause problems beyond just a missing file, then its
hardly the fault of the antivirus program.
