Hi Adil,

so you stopped the virus scanner, but you didn't answer my other questions.

Again:
- Which version of TortoiseSVN are you using?
- Is the working copy on a network share or on a local disk?
- Did you run TortoiseSVN-Cleanup on the working copy?

Cheers
-Lübbe

        Hi,

Yes there is symantec virus program but i have stopped all of them and i have done all that you said, but 12000 files can not be viewed, waiting time takes so much time. after waiting 4 or 5 minutes you can see the files and sometimes a deadlock occurs.

        regards.

                Hi,

please tell us which version of TortoiseSVN you are using, whether the working copy is on a network share (bad idea) or not and wheter you are running a virus scanner which may cause significant slowdowns when working copies are scanned by the TortoiseSVN status cache. It may also be a good idea to run cleanup on the WC once.

                               Hello

Our critical problem is about performance. We have 12000 files in a directory at the windows 2003 server(2 gb ram, 2 ghz process) and while opening the directory with tortoisesvn, it is opening 3 or 4 minutes. All the performence setting is ok, for example " Icon overlay->status cache" to "none" and the others.
How can we accelerate the opening time? What are the other settings besides that main settings?
