What to do after reinstallation ?

Since a short time I am using SVN system.
I created repositories in folder c:\repositoires.
I checked out the data in c:\workfolder.

I had to reinstall my system (Windows, subversion, ..)
I restored a backup of both the repositories folder as the work folder.

How to get the repositoires back as before ?

Can I import the existing repositories (c:\repositories)
or do I have the create new ones (c:\newrepositories) and import back from the work folder (c:\workfolder) ?
