BUG: Installer for Tortoise 1.4.5.10425 fails at file copy stage with TSVN.cab error

Full Installer name is TortoiseSVN-1.4.5.10425-win32-svn-1.4.5.msi.
The error message is: "The cabinet file 'TSVN.cab' required for this
installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a
network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with
this package".

I've downloaded the same installer twice, installed MSI installer 3.1
v.2, cleaned my Windows temp directory.
Machine is AthlonXP, Windows XP Pro 32bit SP2, uptodate as windows
update is concerned.
Tried searching for a 'tsvn.cab' file on hard drive with total
commander, none found.
I have just started with Subversion, and only installed the exe and
setup the service, prior to trying to install Tortoise.

What should I try next?
