Hello,
yes I forgot to tell that server is on local machine.
Windows XP, Mobile AMD Sempron 3200+ (1.61 GHz), 496 MB RAM

So is the low memory problem?
When I was looking to process list, tortoise takes only about 20 MB
(and 60 MB with full commit)
For comparison Firefox takes 70 MB and works fine.
Or is there something that i don't see.

Also there was tip that changing protocol from file: to svn: could
improve speed.
Can I change from file to svn on local computer?
It is telling me that server actively refused it.

Thanks for that really fast reply :)
