Commit lot of new files takes too long

I have about 13 000 files in 20 directories. (each file is about 40 kB,
binary)
I selected them all, right click and on content menu choose SVN>Add.
After the add operation completed, I again select all and commit.

First it was added to repository, and than sending content part begins.
Let to run all night, but at the morning the progress was only in cca 10%.
I canceled.

Than I select smaller count of files (cca 200) and commit them.
I was added to repository, and sending content part begins.
For the first cca 20 files it was fast enough, but each one of the rest of
the files was sending slower and slower.

For me it looks like, that if the revision file is little bigger (cca >
2MB), it takes longer to add content to it.
Especially if there is lot of files to add. In my case, commit 13 000 new
files is insane.
There should be some optimize for that.

PS: Sorry my bad english.
