Client side hooks

Hello all,

I have been downloading nightly builds for the past few weeks in hopes if
finding a build with working client-side hooks. It may be operator error but
I am unable to get any of my hooks to fire. I have created a simple
start-commit hook that uses a fully qualified path to the executable and have
left "hide hook" unchecked and "wait for hook" checked. I'm not doing
anything fancy.

I am using the 1.4.99 nightlies with SVN 1.4.5. I'm wondering if I need to be
using TortoiseSVN 1.4.99 with a nightly build of SVN as well? Advice welcome!
