RE: TSVNCache tends to hold locks on files

I have also seen this happening, and worked around it by changing the
TortoiseSVN status cache setting (on the Look and Feel/Icon Overlays
page) to either "Shell" or "None" instead of "Default". It may not be
the complete TortoiseSVN experience you wanted, but it does work around
the problem (without requiring killing any processes).

Subject: TSVNCache tends to hold locks on files

Hey guys, I didn't see this on the issue tracker so I wanted to bring it

up. Frequently when I try to delete files on my machine, whether they're

SVN working directories or not, I'll be told that I don't have
permission to delete some file. If I search for the file handle in
Process Explorer, it's usually being held by TSVNCache.exe. The fix is
always to kill TSVNCache.exe, which allows me to delete the files. I
hope it's not too hard a thing to fix - TortoiseSVN has been perfect for

me in every other way.
