WinXP,
TortoiseSVN 1.4.5, Build 10425 - 32 Bit , 2007/08/26
11:14:13
Subversion 1.4.5,
I'm using this on a
standalone PC, dual 1.7 centrino etc ,no networking.
I can checkin &
checkout OK.
When I try to
"revert to", Tortoise appears to function correctly, there is lots of disk
activity and files are updated for about 30seconds. Then disk activity virtually
stops, processor load is high and nothing seems to happen for a very long time,
and the OK button never seems to activate. It looks as though it has hung. If I
wait 10-20 minutes it sometimes does eventually activate.
1. Is this normal
behaviour? I seem to remember that before, using a previous Tortoise version and
virtually the same data, this process took only about 1-2 minutes.
2. To save time I
have been cancelling the revert after about 4-5 minutes of apparent disk
inactivity, and manually closing the window. When I examine the files they seem
to be OK but I'm very worried that my data may be getting
corrupted. If the OK button never activates surely there must be something
wrong? I have tried cleanups and reinstalls with this version, but this does not
fix it. What should I do?
Many
thanks,
Mitch
