feature request: suppress scanning in remote folders

Problem found: when browsing files to vpn connection explorer with
tortoisesvn drammatically speed down cause search svn data in each folder,
there is possible or planning to put in tortoisesvn config a options to
disable it when browsing remote server or remote folders ??
