Explorer is really slow about updating the overlay icons, especially on
root drives. Try F5. Try closing your explorer window and opening
again. Keep in mind that the relationship between overlay icon (your
green checkmark) and the folder is if the folder *contains* .svn then
you'll get the overlay. I.e. if you have subfolders in c:\ with .svn in
them you'll still have overlays on them (because of what they contain,
not what's in C:\).
