Add keywords to existing files.

Hi Everyone,

I am aware that the use of svn:keywords($Id$, #Author$ - etc) are used whenNEW
files are added into a repository.

But in the interest of being thorough, and simply not just assuming the worst, I
thought I would ask,

Is it possible to retrospectively have keywords applied to files that already
exist in the repository?

And if it isn't - what would be the course of action for getting the required
functionality added?

I don't simply mean ask for it on a 'feature request' mailing list either...

More along the lines of,
"A, B and C are required in SVN, D, E and F are required in clients."

And perhaps an opinion on whether or not any (if required) effort is worth the
outcome.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
