Stefan,

Uninstalled, reinstalled, runnig with 1.4.99 now
But still the Merge-utility asks me for a filename when I try to close the merge

If the numbers from the About dialog and the msi filename don't match, then your installation is either not finished (reboot?) or something went wrong when you installed it.
