Installing TortoiseSVN without administrator rights.

Hi, I'm having some problems with installing TortoiseSVN.
On the windows 2000 machine I'd like to install it, I don't have
'administrator' priviledges;
however, I do have write access to C:\WinNT\System32, C:\WinNT\WinSxS,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and HKEY_CURRENT_USER.

I've moved the required dll's (mfc80*, msvcr80.dll) to the right places,
and this got the install to work, only to fail at the last moment where it
said 'can't read from network'.

Making a copy from a machine where I do have admin access, and massaging the
registry with a bit of python and hoping that everything would be OK: no
success (instead, the msi installer now compains directly that I'' ve got no
Admin priviledges.)

TortoiseCVS installs flawlessly, and works OK, including shell
extensions. Any idea how I can get this to work?

Regards, Alex
