See? Now what was so hard about just telling that SubWCRev.exe doesn't
have version info?
btw: that's already fixed and will be included in 1.5.0.

Settings dialog->General->"Automatically check for newer versions every
week".
Also mentioned in our docs, including in the Admin section where we
explain how to configure TSVN to check the version from an internal
webserver so an Admin can decide when the users get the update notification.
