TortoiseSVN Install Error

Hi,
 
I am trying to install TortiseSVN 1.4.4 on my XP SP2 machine. The
installation itself fails, very quickly and consistently.
 
Here are the details on the file:
 
 
 
I get the following error dialogs each time I click Install:
 
 
 
Retry just cycles through this same dialog and Cancel gives me this
dialog:
 
 
 
Here is the report on my install from cksum:

I have downloaded the package from 2 locations and gotten the same
results. It makes me think that there is something in my environment
that is causing this. Is there a log file I can look at? Does anyone
have any suggestions on what to try next?
