Commit User Display/Change

Hello,

In the commit dialog, can the username (that is saved and
about to be committed) be listed somewhere and a way to
change it there for the commit?
Or possibly a setting that allows for prompting with login
dialog before commit (after user clicks ok on commit
window). If the user has selected to save auth data (on a
previous login) then all the info will be populated on the
login form and the user just has to click ok. This will
allow the user to see who it is being committed as and if
they want to change the user, they can do so right there.
Having it a setting will also allow users that don’t need
to be prompted to not be bothered. I personally would
rather be hit with the dialog then to have commits go
through under the wrong user as sometimes the same
computer is shared with different users.

It is very time consuming to have to clear out
authentication (which clears for all other checkouts on
the computer as well) and then have to re-login for each
one as they are used. This happens sometimes when only 1
change is needed under a different username. It then
clears out everyone.
I also don’t want to have to force a login for each
transaction as most of the time the same username is fine.

Thanks-
