Exclude sub folders update from project

I got this problem since i start using tsvn, i get updates from quiet
big project, but many of subfolder/subprojects of this project are
useless for me and take only space on my hdd.
Ie.
I have project with this folders:
1\
1\a\
1\b\
1\c\
1\d\
2\a\
2\b\
...
etc.
now i want to exclude useless folder 1\d\ and all of his subfolders,
how to do this? is it possible?
I don't commit anything to this project, and don't tell me to use
svn:external for itch subfolder of folder 1 :)
