Thanx, good to know, but, I use the log message to enter what has been
changed in the program units since last commit :-) Very nice combined with
report writing when writing a summary for users about changes since last
published version of program.
I also combine the usage of log and versions with Eurekalog bug and memory
leakage dumper so I know exactly where things happen if a bug happens and
the program get an unhandled error that is then sent me through email. (a
Delphi unit)
