Client prompts to open certificate file when connecting to server

Hi Guys,

I'm running svn on debian using apache2 w/ ssl and
tortoise under xp. My problem is that whenever I try and do anything
that makes a connection to the server I'm prompted to select a client
certificate. This wasn't always the case but for the life of me I
can't figure out what has changed. The ssl cert on apache2 is self
made but the connection hostname matches the cert's hostname. :s

Has anyone come across this problem?
