Ignoring case sensitivity in filenames?

From: Christopher Johnson <christopher.a.johnson_at_gmail.com>

The VB6 project I work on sometimes renames designer (.dsr) files
to use upper or lower case, and it confuses subversion/tsvn.
Is there a way to ignore or turn off case sensitivity in filenames?
Alternatively, is there a way to map files to be the same
(e.g. SummaryReport.Dsr is equal to SummaryReport.dsr)?

Any help would be appreciated!
