export not working

I am using TortoiseSVN 1.4.3 and Subversion 1.4.3 on 64-bit Vista. I have
some SVN controlled folders and attempted to export one of them to another
directory. The folder contains a lot of files under version control, but
when I exported it, the new location had only a single folder in it and it
had no subfolders or files. When I export, I leave "Export unversioned
files too" and "Omit externals" unchecked because checking either of these
causes the .svn folders to be copied, which I don't want. I've used this
command many times on Windows XP without any issues. I tried running an
export from the command line and it worked fine. Any ideas what is going on
with Tortoise here?
