Have you ever heard of "Outlook quote fix"? Maybe there is something similar
for Lotus Notes :)

Can you point Firefox to your repository and browse it without getting the
auth/mkactivity error?
If this works, TortoiseSVN should work too. If not the problem isn't related
to TortoiseSVN.
