RE: Very slow explorer response

Is the folder a remote / network share folder?
If it is then then the Tortoise icon overlays can be the problem. Try
Settings > Icon Overlays, and deselect "Network drives" in the Drive
Types lists.

Does that help?

Cheers,
Richard

Subject: Very slow explorer response

I have a client that uses SVN and TSVN (latest versions of both). He
reports that when opening a folder in Windows Explorer (not related to
the development environment) it a really long time to load (he reported
a 30 minute load time). I am guessing this is because TSVN is checking
against the repository...

Any ideas? How can we fix this problem?
