Basic questions on issue trackers

Hi,

even though I browsed the archives I wasn't completly sure about the
following question: when integrating tsvn with an issue tracker, what
benefits will I have?

As far as I understand it, I can relate a commit with one or more
issues, but can I do something else? Can I for example change properties
of the issue (like percentage done)?
