Error: PROPFIND - Unable to connect to repository

Hello!

I am trying to get the data from the repository
https://publex.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/publex/trunk using TortoiseSVN 1.4.1
on Windows XP with SP2.

After I enter the above repository in TortoiseSVN, it seems like the data
transfer has started 'coz TortoiseSVN says - 6201.18 MBytes transferred, at
391192.90. However, after a few minutes, I get the following error -

Error: PROPFIND request failed on '/svnroot/publex/trunk'
Error: PROPFIND of '/svnroot/publex/trunk': Could not create SSL connection
through proxy server (https://svn.sourceforge.net)

There is no data in the destination folder, even though TortoiseSVN said it was
transferring data for more than 10 mins.

I get the same error message if I try without enabling proxy setting in
TortoiseSVN. Our proxy server has only port 80 open. Firewall is off.

What am I missing?

Thanks in advance,

Pradip
